The Apex approach

Roofing viewed through a builder’s lens

Apex understands why an unanswered roofing question can affect framing, dry-in, MEP curbs, exterior finishes, inspections and turnover. Our goal is to make the roofing package easier to evaluate and manage from bid day through final closeout.

The Florida roofing credential supports direct execution of the roofing scope. The general-contractor credential adds project fluency and can provide broader authority when a major-damage situation genuinely requires it; Apex does not position itself as the prime contractor on ordinary roofing packages.

Roofing capabilities

Built around the project—not a stock scope.

01

Preconstruction support

Plan and specification review, scope questions, alternates, value conversations, schedule assumptions and early risk identification.

02

Field execution

Supervision, safety, production, quality control, coordination with adjacent trades and timely communication about constraints.

03

Professional closeout

Punch completion, cleanup, warranties, product documentation, photographs and organized turnover materials.

Scope control

What to send with a bid invitation

A complete invitation helps Apex evaluate fit and return a more useful roofing proposal.

  1. 01Plans, specifications and roofing details
  2. 02Bid date, project schedule and anticipated roofing start
  3. 03Scope sheet, alternates and allowance requirements
  4. 04Addenda, substitution rules and approved manufacturers
  5. 05Bonding, insurance, safety, closeout and platform requirements

Project fit

Where Apex fits best

Apex is pursuing commercial and multifamily new construction, significant re-roofing and selected public or institutional opportunities in Florida. Strong project fit, clear documents and professional coordination are more important than chasing every invitation.

  • Commercial new construction
  • Multifamily and mixed-use communities
  • Large capital re-roofing programs
  • Selected public and institutional roofing projects

Frequently asked questions

Questions about for general contractors and developers

How should a GC invite Apex to bid?+

Use the website estimate form to send project details and one plan or specification file, then Apex can coordinate the full document transfer and bid requirements directly.

Will Apex work as the direct roofing subcontractor?+

Yes. That is the preferred structure. Apex is responsible to the contracting party for its awarded roofing field scope, supervision, safety, production, quality, punch and closeout.

Does Apex self-perform every activity?+

Apex manages and contracts the roofing scope using qualified, properly insured field resources. The actual labor structure, supervision and any subcontracting must match the contract and project representations.

What regions does Apex cover?+

Apex’s primary focus is Florida, beginning with Tampa, Southwest Florida and South Florida. Other Florida opportunities are evaluated based on size, schedule, scope and strategic fit.
